It's football time in Tennessee!

Updated: Sep 14, 2019

It's officially football season! We are big college football fans, but also love a good Sunday game day. We really like having people over to watch, but sometimes it is nice to just get out of the house and be able to at least half watch a game or two. Here are some of our favorite kid-friendly spots to watch your favorite team play:

Corner Pub - It feels like these are literally on every corner because you can find one close to most neighborhoods. Each location has so many TVs they play every college and NFL game. Their big, open layout, but cozy feel makes it the ideal place to take the whole family. Their kids' meals come with a free popscicle which should buy you some extra time to at least make it to half time!

Ole Smokey Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewery - With GIANT screens both inside and outside, this place is perfect for game day. It has a big inside with lots of seating, try to grab one of the couch sets that face each other - you can barricade the littlest kids in! Outside is great too with a large area that has games and seating, you can see the game from anywhere.

BoomBozz Pizza - We all know and love the fact this place has a legit playground for the kids to play on, but did you notice just how many TVs they have?? The pizza is good, the beer is cold and you might even be able to watch the whole game here.

Edley's BBQ - The food is so good here you will be able to get everyone to sit and eat while you watch the game. All three locations in the area are family friendly with games on every Saturday and Sunday.

Jonathan's Grille - With multiple locations (Germantown opening in October!) you can always count on this neighborhood restaurant to have the game on. It is family-owned so they are totally down for you to bring the whole family. Their menu is huge so even a picky eater can find something beyond the basic bar food. $5 mimosas and bloody marys, plus 2-4-1 beers of the month all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
